The 1000 offered a deeper layer of memory foam than most of its rivals, providing a firmer feel than the 700. Since the Coolmax cover was introduced, it has proven to be a customer’s favourite.
The Flexcell.co.uk memory foam range contours to your unique body shape eliminating pressure points and allowing the body to fully relax. At the heart of the 1000 mattress is the dual-layer laminated foam core which combines the pressure relieving qualities of memory foam with the support of a high density Reflex foam base layer.
The top layer made from 10cm of 55kg/m3 visco elastic memory foam moulds and contours to the sleeper's individual body shape distributing the bodyweight evenly. This even distribution of weight eliminates pressure points resulting in a much more comfortable and relaxed sleeping experience.
The top layer is then laminated to the high-density base layer creating a full 20cm deep mattress core. The base layer is equally important as it allows areas such as the hips and shoulders to sink into the mattress retaining the correct posture.
The combination of visco elastic and high-density Reflex foam retain the body's correct posture avoiding unnecessary pressure on the vertebrae and soft tissue of the spine and lower back. This reduces the chance of waking up with a sore back and increases the chances of an uninterrupted night’s sleep
